Looking for an enthusiastic person with a "can do" attitude. Someone willing to hustle on wedding days and put in some serious steps!
Ash + Oak Planning is looking to hire a part-time Assistant Event Coordinator for the 2023 wedding season. I am looking for enthusiastic, hard-working candidates to be part of the Ash + Oak Planning team. Ideally someone that is willing to grow with me and eventually become a lead planner and take on weddings themselves as a part of Ash + Oak. We specialize in planning and design and making the wedding planning process stress-free and fun for our brides.
The ideal client will possess the following;
+ Must be local to the Cleveland Area
+ Willingness to go above and beyond for our couples.
+ Superb organization skills.
+ An eye for design.
+ A willingness to work flexible hours.
+ Capability to help with and learn behind the scenes systems.
+ Knowledgeable with social media.
Hours will be based on the wedding we take on. Assistance with emails and systems will be required. Some physical ability is required, including the ability to lift items up to 20 pounds and to be on your feet for 12 plus hours. Assistant will be assisting me execute the wedding day from setup to tear down most days.

She went so above and beyond for us. Important to note that she gave birth to her second baby less than two months before our day and STILL didn’t miss a beat. Rain on your wedding day? We barely even remember it rained on our day because of how Ashley managed that adversity. I’m convinced there’s nothing she can’t do. She constantly added and changed ideas to our vision until we felt like it was exactly what we imagined. Her attention to small details is what made our day come together so beautifully.
Any planner can follow directions, but Ashley will go the extra mile you didn’t even know you wanted. So many things we love from our day, Ashley came up with! She is here for YOU. Working with Ashley was the best wedding decision we made!

Ashley was an absolute rockstar the day of our wedding!
